Need a title

For the past few weeks I have been planning and writing a poetry series. The series is based off of different aspects of medieval life. Beggers, thief's, cut-throats, and royalty are but a few of the aspects i will write about. of course i cannot write from a literal view point seeing as i didn't live then but its based off of what i have read and learned. any ideas for a title for the series would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The Woods

This is something I wrote today in a few minutes.

In the summer before my senior year of high school, I moved into a new neighborhood.I still went to the same school but my family just moved closer. There were few people I talked to or wanted to be around soo I had a lot of time to myself. I spent most of my days that summer working but the days I had off I could be found skateboarding through this new territory. It seems like I took the same route every time and it began to grow boring. One day as I skated down a hill that I travel every time I'm out and about I had a feeling, something different. This street ends in a "T" you can either go left or right. I always went right as that connected back to the street I live on. But today something pushed me to go left so without hesitation I did. At first it was nothing special, a bunch of big houses owned by the "upper class" of my town. But then I caught a glimpse of something unexpected. A lake. Being the nature loving adventurous type that I am, I followed every sidewalk and street I thought would lead me to this hidden body of water. Eventually I found it, and to my surprise there were woods that outlined a side of the lake. These woods had paved walking trail through them that made me both happy and sad. The sadness being that they had to destroy nature to build them but happy because I could skate through. Now i know woods are woods and they are not that exciting to some people but the feeling these woods gave me was something magical. No matter what, I spent at least an hour everyday in these woods, no matter if I was thinking, laughing, crying, or meditating I was at peace. I had found a pagan and druid podcast a few weeks before and listening to that while being surrounded with beautiful nature made the experience that much better. These woods are my own little slice of paradise and spending the time alone here that I did really let me learn who I am and what it is that I truly believe.

Thank you,

Fresh Start

Ahhh. Nothing like the feeling of starting anew. Be it a new home, a new life, new love, or simply a new blog such as this, it is a great feeling. Poetry, Art, Love, Open Mindedness, these are things that are slowly fading from our world. Some people go through there lives without experiencing any of these. Me.. I am trying to bring these back. I heard a saying. one man can change the minds of many, many can change a town, a town can change a state, a state can change a nation, and a nation can change the world. Now i am not sitting here saying I am going to change the world. But if I can change one persons mind or make one person smile then my job on the mundane world is complete so enjoy what I write, create, and capture in this blog. and always remember, keep music in your heart so even if you're alone you will still have a song to keep you company. Thank you
